Casa Grande Ruins National Monument at 9:00 AM

Your first stop is at The Casa Grande Ruins National Monument which was declared a National Monument in 1918. The area holds numerous ruins of multiple structures. It was built as the first archaeological reserve in the nation in 1892. A visit here is your one opportunity to witness the structures of eras of the Pueblo III and Pueblo IV.

Pinal County Historical Museum at 10:30 AM

Pinal County Historical Society Museum displays impressive collections with numerous exhibits that highlight Florence's bygone eras and all aspects related to the area. They host many special events throughout the year, like Geological History of Florence Program, Oral Histories. The museum annual yard sale is also a fun thing to partake. Stop by their store that sells some interesting collections of books.

McFarland State Park at 12:00 PM

Head to downtown Florence to reach this small park that encompasses a preserved courthouse and other structures that date back to the Arizona Territory period. McFarland Park commemorates a US Senator, Governor of Arizona, Ernest McFarland. The courthouse is included in the National Register of Historic Places list.

The Windmill Winery at 3:00 PM

Take a little time off to sip a glass of outstanding wine or simply relax in the lake house or barn in the windmill Winery.
